The first week of november is a crapshoot on the ocean down there. Some years the bite will last into november if you're lucky. Many years the tuna up and disappear overnight at the end of october.
Like mactuna said, H & M is very good. Point Loma Sportfishing and Fisherman's Landing round out the big three down there. The all have websites. Keep an eye on the fishcounts on the website before you go.
If there is still tuna and yellowtail around, it will be worth your while to go out. The crowds will likely be very light. The afternoon winds usually lay down around the first of november too. (unless there is a storm moving through) Some of my best days on the ocean there were in nov-january.
