Peter, sounds like you have decided to multi task the future 3 weight, but if not DT is a better choice for streams and creeks as it will load up at shorter distances.
DT and WF are the same after that first 30', but most creeks I fish I am luck to see 20'.
That is why DT is easier to roll cast. Plus you getting 2 lines for the price of one.[
