I dont get them as much now as I did when I first started fly fishing, but there is a nice handy tool you can pick up that has a hook that is used for untying those knots..
you bet ya its a pain in the brain pan un-tying them, especialy when it gets cold out not to mention they can be time consuming and combersom. To be honest there were times when cutting the line or replacing it it the only option.... But if I can untie it I will, my reasoning is I hate leaving a peice of line in the water by accident...
cant tell ya how many hundreds of yards of line I have pulled out of the rivers and lakes...
