Super Easy Albino although I have been getting into HAIR flies as of lately.
I find the Hair flies will sink also.
Okay easy! Go to Sportsmen's and get a package of MUSKRAT strips. Should be right by the Zonker Strips, I saw it yesterday.
A #2 or #4 streamer hook, Tan ultra Chenille or leather strip for tail
and Tan, Black, Grey, or Brown Foam ( the stuff for hoppers)
Cut the foam in a strip, the width of the hook gap or even a little wider.
Tie in the tail, tie in the foam, then wrap the hook shank with the Muskrat.
Fold the foam over and tie down. By leaving a tag at the eye, it can POP really nice. The bigger the tag, better the pop, but cutting it shorter works nice also. The fly darts from side to side.
WHY MUSKRAT? Because it is more water repellent than rabbit or even HAIR, plus nice color.
