However, anything is possible and subject to Human error, as Tube Dude has said, he slid out of the seat, which can happen if you need to lean back to kick. The boat is longer in the back than a SFC and won't give like a SFC.
[cool][#0000ff]Only partly right. For some reason I was never able to ride comfortably in the H3 seats. I tried every possible permutation of inflation and adjustments. A big part of the problem, for me, was that the whole craft seemed to tilt slightly forward even when I was seated upright and should have been level. I do not lean back to kick under most conditions but I kept sliding forward, out of the seat. That required continuously pushing myself pack and repositioning. At the end of the day both my back and my arms were sore. The only way I could ride level without sliding forward was by using those PVC chairs...and inserting a piece of rigid foam up in front of the top of the seat to create a ridge.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]My wife had the same problem with hers. We were comparing them to the SFCs we had just vacated to buy the H3s. Neither of us could ever fish comfortably in the H3's without continuous adjustments and repositioning. That should not be necessary. When you buy a craft with the price tag of an H3 it should work fine right out of the box or else be adjustable to provide comfortable fishing. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]But, on the subject, the H3 was rock steady on the water. I have pictures of me leaning way back and way forward and the tube did not change much either position in the way it rode on the water.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]It was amazing when we bought new Fat Cats. We both remarked on our first trip that we had fished all day without discomfort.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I will say again. I don't care how good the engineering and materials are in a product...or how high the price tag. If it does not fit my requirements I will buy cheaper and offshore if that is what it takes to make me a happy camper (fisherman). I would rather get shorter use out of it...if it provides what I am looking for....than to have a prestige top end product that only gives me a pain in the ....[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Once more...we all have our own preferences and opinions...based upon our own reasons and criteria. But, that does not mean that our preferences should necessarily be those for everybody else...or that we should feel hurt and upset when somebody else does not follow our recommendations.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]But, it is good that we can all chip in on this forum to at least make others aware of the issues and options so that they can make a more informed decision when it is time to fork over the big bucks.[/#0000ff]
