Whitefish run is beginning at Bear Lake

My limited experience fishing for whites reminds me that it is best to be fishing at first light up to about 8:00 or 9:00 am then the bite shuts off (or significantly reduces). But that's just me. Also, I think the best white fish fishing is over on the east side of the lake around cisco beach where there is plenty of shallow gravel and rocks.
