I hear you. I've never had much luck at Scofield either, but I think that is more because I don't really know the water very well, and I have only been there a handful of times. The fish can be small, but there are the occasional pretty fish too.
I remember taking a friend new to ice fishing to Scofield. I had 5 for about 12 hours of fishing ona cold windy day and my friend caught a skunk. I felt bad that he had a bad day, but he didn't have thte right equipment.
On the other hand, I've been there with kentofnsl and his buddy and they were pulling up fish and I was catching skunk. All part of fishing I guess.
