My first question is how deep are you fishing? If you're in 150 feet or less, there's no need for an electric reel. You just need to get a conventional reel with a high speed gear ratio. Something Like an Avet or one of those Diawas with like a 6:1 gear ratio. You'll get the fish up off the bottom fast, and they've got plenty of power to lock down the drag on large grouper and snapper.
If you had to get an electric reel, you could always purchase a Penn Senator 114 and get an electric adapter for it that mounts to the side. It's slow, but it's torquey, it's works, and it's not terribly expensive. It will also last you a long time.
