The winter of my discontent, and what is that smell!@

[cool][#0000ff]I feel your pain (chill). We are "downstream" from ya and we get all the leftovers. There have been plenty this winter. Very white and very cold. Definitely puts a cramp in the tubing and tooning hereabouts.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]STREET TROLLING: If snow trolling for dogs or cats, use at least a medium weight rod with at least 10 pound line and a loose drag. They pounce hard and can run fast. Rig one rod with a squeeky bone and the other with a catnip mouse. Always practice C & R and give your catch a tummy rub or a scratch behind the ear as you release them. That will encourage them to play again.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]If human prey is your target, you may need to use heavier tackle...especially if trolling near WalMart. There are some big mamas to be caught in WalMart parking lots. They can be dangerous if you bring them too close to your craft before they are played out. Sometimes better to cut them loose and boogie before they catch YOU. Best lures are "greenback wigglers". Denominations of $5 or larger will usually get a fast response. Larger bills will get even more action. If the fishing is fast and you have to "long line release" very many bigguns it can get expensive. Definitely not a sport for a man with a tight budget. But certainly a lot of fun.[/#0000ff]
