I don't know how far from the Twin Falls area you live, but there might be some open "toon" water in that area. I don't know how really true it is, but I was told that the springs keep a number of places ice free in that area. I think that one was Clear Lake. The owners of Clear Lake have a $10 use fee.

Does anyone have any "sure" info on these waters? I am thinking of making an early spring run and check out the area myself. I have been in that area in the summer, but not in the winter.
