took my boy up to rockport for our fisrt hard deck trip this yr sunday. we started out for the old hot spot. well the lake has come up alot over the last 2 yrs. my spot on the gps was 42 feet deep in the good yrs. this yr 56 foot at my gps#,s. well we still set up and went to hunting some perch. i was seeing them on my graph but only got 1 to hit. in 2 hrs. so we ventured closer to the bank. i wasnt marking many fish so we went back out to 46 ft. then i decked a 23 in brown and 3 moore rainbows. son missed all his bites. people around the banks had a bunch of bows on the deck.
