what's your favorite lure/bait?

ONE OF MY BEST FISHING PARTNERS: He is in his late 60's and uses two baits all day and every day.... Hair jig and spinnerbait are the only two baits... He says he is two old to be switching to anything else.... I've noticed the older I get the more I'm set in my ways.... Almost like the way companies hire, they look for individuals under 40 because supposedly they are more trainable....
