Are you talking another pontoon. There is a company out there that makes a two pontoon that connect together.
Actually, I came up with the same idea many years ago and tried to run it past Dave.
Actually is you could find a tube big enough to go AROUND one of you pontoons. Then clip the back of one pontoon to the front of the other then slide the tube over...something to make it rigid. So it won't bend at the connection.
There is something to get you thinking about.
One real long pontoon shouldn't use much more power the a short one. It will still be cutting through the water like waterskis
