New Zealand Fishing
#6
Hi steve
some excellent broadbills, pending world records have been capture in new zealand waters recently.
The trend (new here) is one on the downrigger and one bait on the surface. both with lightsticks on the trace above the baits which are tucked inside a softheaded lure, either squid or makeral type baits.

The kingis we have been getting on both live and dead baits and we have been using small arrow squid with some great results. depth only 50 mtrs (150 feet) drifting and at anchor.
Tolaga Bay is also a great spot, I have probably heard of the boat.
cheers phil
