Check the regs, but I believe artificial light is illegal on Wyoming waters. I'm not sure if the US Forest Service is letting people slide without a Flaming Gorge Pass for the Bash, so you might save yourself a fine by buying a 3 dollar pass at all of the same places you buy bait and Gorge reciprical fishing stamps. You'll need a pass to be at the Buckboard boat ramp and parking lot area. Fished south buckboard today, no snow on the ice, so get your cleats out. There are ATV's and snowmachines on the ice, but you have to find a place to cross the many pressure ridges. Ice is about 8" in the Buckbord area
