ha im not new to fishing in general but am new to salt water fishing.
i have 3 rods light med 7'ish med heavy 8'ish and a 2 peice 9 foot surf. they are set up with penn sargus reels 4000 (20lb test),5000 (30lb test), and 8000 (50lb test) all braided.
on my bass rods i always set the drag to pretty tight and just winched most of them in i know you cant do that with saltwater in case of that monster that comes up and just snaps your line.
what are your opinions on how tight to set the drag on these rods.
