Nice job on the crappies. I went to the narrows underneath the powerlines on Saturday. The crappie schools moved around a little so the fish finder was helpful. We caught (there were three of us fishing) 25 descent-sized crappie in 1 and half hours. There were times when they would be all over the finder and then suddenly they were gone and we would be sitting there a while waiting for them to come back. Either we'd move closer to the middle of the channel or they would come back to us before we would start catching them again. They were all pretty large compared to what I caught last year during the summer. Jigging little squids up and down worked great as well as casting a short distance and realing in real slow on a very sensitive pole. All the crappie were 15-30 feet deep. There were some other fish on the finder a couple feet off the bottom apart from the schools. I don't know if they were bass, carp or sturgeon.
