Well, then you need to adjust your attitude mister.
The comment was made directly to me by the most supportive legislator that the sportspeople of UT have had in many years. This legislator worked very hard through all of last year with sportspeople, land owners and other legislators (until the land owners and republican legislators abandoned her). None other than our own friend and supporter Lorie Fowlke. The comment was in response to my comment that we (she knows me as a fisher person from my days spent at the capitol this year) would be back next year to try to get changes made to HB 141 and my comment that "laws were made to be amended"after she had apologized to me because we lost this year and I told her she had nothing to be sorry for.
So back up, cast upstream and allow your presentation to drift back down to you. You could not be more wrong and I personally am very hurt by your insinuation about Represenative Fowlke.
I was there, the comment was made directly to me and I interpreted it to mean that she was happy that fishers were now politically involved in their future and that she looked forward to working with us more. She will be our voice on the interm study committee this summer fighting for our rights still and again.
It would do you well to look up what she stands for and give her any support you can muster. She lives in and represents Orem and I don't even think she fishes but was our main supporting voice as she crafted the defeated HB 80.
The special interest people she was pandering to was me, you and every other person who fishes from the state of UT. We were her whiney group as she fought gallantly against the 500 acre ranch owners on the Weber and put her very future in the legislature on the line for we beer guzzling hicks.
Take a moment, if you will and write her a note of thanks for all she did and is continuing to do, Her address and E-mail address is in this thread above.

Sorry if my response is a little harsh, but you are dead wrong in your post and I aim to correct your thinking.
