Like I said, some people will be anal about the law, ie "the law is the law" and others will be able to see past the letter to the purpose of the law. Mistakes are mistakes and those that make unintentional mistakes don't need to be punished to great degrees. I too like to see CO's out making sure that everyone is obeying the laws, but there is room for some logic and some pragmatism in enforcing them. Those actively pouching, thrown them in jail; those who have purchased licenses for 10 straight years and forgot to check his license before a trip to see that it had barely expired, give them a warning, a $20 ticket or a fix it ticket. Anything more is anal and a power trip!
