As a "Sworn Public Official" I am not required to hold my personal opinions, on my personal time, too myself. I am sorry you are of the fascist opinion that public officials are not entitled to personal opinions.
So now I'm a fascist, or have a fascist opinion rather. That's an interesting comment. Allow me to clarify my comment for you so you are more understanding of the point and then you can call me any names you like.
It has been my opinion, AND my experience that as a public official, regardless of your office (Elected Official, Police Officer, Firefighter, etc), the very second you imply into any conversation, personal time or not, your official and publicly appointed position in that office; it imparts a suggestion to the readers that you have some degree of authority over the subject, as in this case which is politics. This will almost certainly and suddenly thrust your personal opinions into official opinions. You can disagree or not, but it is reality.
So had you NOT suggested in your posting that you were an elected official (Prior to your editing your post), then I would not have made the comment, and your comment (prior to your editing your post) that said something to the effect of "by all means please boycott the State of Wyoming over this issue", wouldn't have bothered me at all, because I agree we all have our personal opinions.
Now if the great State of Wyoming holds a different standard for their politicians, then please allow me the opportunity to apologize.
As far the fees are concerned, I believe there should be an exception at Flaming Gorge vs. other Wyoming waters for resident vs non-resident because of the reciprocity agreement. Reciprocity licensing costs the same on both sides, as should any AIS stickering projects because BOTH states share the same body of water.
