And if they just leave everything alone at utah lake, I would be fine with that too. Them carp never get in the way of gamefish at all! That lake has always fished very well and always will if they just leave everything alone. Clean up the pcbs but who cares about eliminating carp lol. Carp or no carp, there's an abundance of gamefish, it doesn't matter much at all. And moving the provo river is a horrible idea. I know, the priority is the sucker not those non- indigenous species. But hey I won't be fishing there when that lake becomes chuck full of suckers! No way! But yeah, that's the problem with the chub obession......too much emphasis on rainbow trout too.

WOW. I don't want to pick you out on this one, but you must have no real idea of the history of the lake and the way the fishing used to be. Those carp were planted and have and are destroying the eco system of the lake. If not for the large efforts being made the lake would have lost the june sucker. The June sucker might not be much to fish for but there is no reason we should not try to save it. Not only that but the carp destroy the eco enviorment of the lake.
