Ferrari Fishin'
#6
[cool][#0000ff]Those are 6 mm chartreuse beads...like I use for making walleye bait rigs. I have been using beads on my line, ahead of the hook (or fly) for quite a few years as an additional attractant. Strictly for show. Neutral buoyancy...no floating or sinking.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Do they work? Whenever I fish two bait rigs side by side...one with beads and one without...I usually catch at least 2 to 1 on the rig with beads. Most fish are visually oriented...even catfish. A little extra visibility in cold stained water can't hurt. They work well for fishing bait for other species too.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I sometimes put a hot orange colored bead in between the two chartreuse beads...for contrast and extra visibility.[/#0000ff]
