It's real easy fix to your problem.
USE THEM AS FINS AND NOT DANCING SHOES.
For the money you paid, it sounds like you're not going to get it back. Take the loss, flip them down to the finning position, and leave them that way. Maybe you'll like the way the propel you thru the water, and you can keep hounding Omega- i.e. call them on the phone. It seemed to work on NFO.
Or just sell the damn things.[
