This time of year I'll usually start with a black or olive seal bugger on an intermediate sink line. And just change up retrieves, flies, techniques, and lines as the situations dictate. The Berry can be a crazy place. Fishing can be lights out and turn off at the drop of the hat. It can be stone cold dead, and turn on just as quickly. One day epic, the next day a skunk.
There's a lot of trial and error, even for the Strawberry guru's. But yes, I'd like to learn at the feet of the famed flygoddess as well!
