Yesterday, I test drove a Togiak which sat a little higher in the water which was nice but after about 2hrs. my back was aching because it had a weird tilt backward which I constantly had to fight. For whatever reason, it just didn't seem to sit well in the water. For the next round I used a Creek Company Original U-Boat and it was very comfortable for the entire time. It did sit somewhat lower in the water than the Togiak but was like fishing out of a Lazyboy - very comfortable.
Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on either of these tubes. I'm also somewhat interested in the Bighorn XL but didn't have the opportunity for any hands on time with that particular model.
I'd really appreciate some opinions from some experienced float tube enthusiasts!
