OMG....so simple, so elegant, so ingenious. You really could market this.
Put some quick connects and fuses in the box.

This box is set up for electric motor and the small cord is for sonar.

Clean and easy.

As far as the motor mount, it only needs to be a little bigger than the clamp. The mount on my CC was 6" long, by 2" thick and 4" tall. And aLuminum, of course, LOL just teasing.
