Question guys...Went to Starvation a few days ago and there were no inspections. I do Powell a lot as well as a lot of the Colorado waters and there is always an inspection. It also seems there is a different protocol depending where you go. Any reason why they don't them there?
The other thing that baffles me is the physical aspect in checking the boats is so inconsistant. One place they just ask where you have been and others they always dive in and check the livewells, bottoms, hulls, drains etc...seems like it is all the way or half hearted at best depending on where you are. Colorado lakes make you actually seal your boat to the trailer to insure you didn't put it in somewhere else if you want to get back on the same lake without an inspection before you launch.
