spear fishing big eyes
#28
Thanks for the apology. And accept mine if I came off a little too rash. I wont take anymore big ones (unless its a whale), just the good eaters. I'm going to my friends house to get the pics this morning and will post them at lunch.

I wanted to mention one more thing about the big ones in starvation. Back about three weeks ago when the water was at its clearest I saw a lot of fish. Problem was they could see me too, and got scared easier. However, I want to relate a few sightings. One day I was at indian bay by those steep walls(NE corner i think?) and I could see below me a couple of nice walleye and a carp. I dove down and approached them as stealthy as possible. I was taking aim at one of the nice 18-20 inch walleye when i noticed the carp behind them had white markings on its fins...it was a monster walleye! It was out of range but still in clear sight. Absolutely dwarfing the others. I would estimate it at 13-14 pounds. My eyes went dim my adrenaline was pumping so hard. It didn't get that big for being dumb though, and took off after a few seconds. That same day I saw another I would estimate at 10-11 under the bridge, it also stayed away from me. I could tell more stories like this. My point is, there are some toads in there.
