DItto on the pics please! I like showing my son what we COULD find one of these days. Keeps the hopes up.
Page 10 of the proclamation covers spear fishing. Restrictions appear to cover what waters it's acceptable on. And also some talk about not being allowed to use lights at night. Guess ya stick to a full moon? Probably get the "eyes" glowing in the dark I'd bet.
But after the length post about "what's the wierdest thing caught while fishing" and thinking of Tubedudes snagging stories - how does a diver keep from getting tangled up in somebody's long lines and crankbaits? Not to mention popping up for air in the path of a jet ski motor heads?
I know they have guidelines about skiers in the water. Saw the ranger dishing out a few tickets or warnings on Hyrum yesterday. (good on them I say!)
I think I also realize now why one toober said he felt more secure on his pontoon that a small boat. It was choppy windy and wavy. I took my wife and mom for a little ride, not so bad. Then my sister and bro-n-law joined me for a venture down to the beach area. We had a few waves pour over the bow. By the time I realized we'd taken on a couple inches of water, thought we'd hug the shore and head back.
More weight forward in the boat, and I now more fully appreciate the potential dangers of a small flat bottom like mine. Maybe my kids are right to want a boat with a windshield! (babysteps)
