fishing willard from bank

took my little boy this evening to fish Willard from the bank. We fished the north marina and off the rocks just on the other side of the marina. Did not see any one catch a fish. Was going to try again tomorrow night. Does any one have a better spot. What about the north dike? Or the tree line area just south of the beaches by the north marina?
