I highly recommend a two rod permit fishing from the shore there. One rod rigged with some type of meat, I like a good chunk chub meat casted out weightless (wind permiting). Then the other rod like mentioned above some type of jig ( I like White of Pink) couple of feet down from a bobber. As for location no where in particular, I like to go anywhere there are no people. Usually the far west dike.
