Good thread. Damon's info has to be legitimate. It can be tough to tell from some pictures and everyone has their own experiences which make it tough to come to a solid conclusion. As for my experiences on the lake, in 10 years of fishing it (not that much I know, still a young pup haha) and the 50+ years of my grandpa fishing it, neither of us can ever recall catching a fish with white tipped fins, besides the brookies... We were checked by fish and game at the county boat dock and he said it was a hybrid, I take his word over someone on a forum, no offense. They fight so much harder than the cutts and different than the cutts you can tell in most cases whats on the end of your line. Anyways, good post I know I learned a lot. Went up to Henry's again this past Wednesday-Saturday and had another stellar trip. All brookies this time though, not one cutt or hybrid. No complaints though they are fun fish!
