Talked to Ron and he wanted to fish Riverpark this AM.
He was kind enough to invite me and we met up at 6 on the ramp.

Funny thing though, as I was there early, I saw a young man launching and I offered to help.
He was nice and told me he appreciated it, so I cleared the ramp by moving his vehicle and trailer clear of the ramp area.

The funny part was that Greg, a long time member of CFF had been in Florida on a lake that I was practicing my shooting my crappie jig on.
He even left me a pack of curly tail PAs and tried to give me more, but I thanked him and we talked about fishing for a while and then saw him leave. He was down for a couple of weeks he had told me.

Well, I drove his vehicle this AM at Riverpark.
He reminded me of who he was and it was spooky!
Very weird as I never would have imagined that I would see him again.
He was taking a couple of boats and three others for a fishing lesson/trip.
Real good guy.

emoThumbsup

Anyhoo, Ron showed and then gave me a great lesson on the riverpark.
He caught all the bass but the nice one I stuck on a sweet potato pie strike king jerk worm.
He started off snagging 3 fish that came unbuttoned before the boat and that gave me a chance to emoPoke emoLaugh

He was a great guyde and I had a great time.
Thanks for the trip today and I hope we can go again soon!! emoThanks emoAngler

And now the pics including a poor quality shot of a brindle colored mink:
emoCool
