Used amps are measured by TIME as long as the amps remain constant. For example a 33 ah battery can supply 3.3amps for 10 hours. So if you have used 3.3 amp for 2 hours, then you have used 6.6 ah of the 33 ah or about 20% of theoretical capacity. This assumes ideal conditions, warm, new battery, and low amp draw compared to capacity. You should not go below 80% of theoretical capacity in a lead deep cycle battery, as that shortens cycle life considerably. If your troll motor draws 33 amps it should theoretically go for 1 hour, but will only go maybe 45 minutes because of the huge proportional draw according to Peukert equation.
