I got one of those Aircraft Aluminum trailers set up in my garage right now, so I know what type you are talking about. Not all that great of an idea, although mine has survived many years. Pluses were lightweight and compact construction, almost as easy as a childs wagon to move around and manuver. Negatives were the vibration affects the folding parts causing wear erosion, landing gear type wheels are small and sometimes didn't line up quite right, so you get uneven wear which makes you go through tires quick. Very clever suspension involved several fabric reinforced tire type rubber bands on a lever at each wheel. Tight clearance at each yoke where the wheels are mounted. Really unique. I used it as a trailer for my portabote for years by attaching a long wood extension to the yoke..

Very sweet trailer but the $2,000+ tag is a bit much.

We had a small trailer the was out of Aircraft Aluminum. Made i Germny so did fine on the highway. The wheels would fold inside the trailer like this on and the trailer folded in half (you removed the and it went in the middle. The folded trailer had a handle and looked just like a suitcase. We could store it in the hall closet. Very cool trailer, and very sorry we sold it these days.[/quote]
