It is seperate and now I can not get it tight again even with the special tool .There is no way to hold the inside piece.
I emailed Outcast to see how much they would charge to let me ship it to them and they could assemble it IF they know how. NO ANSWER
It is in the attic storage with a bladder valve semi tight and crooked. ----useless.
The larger pockets are an advantage but I don't need the extra room.
If you need the larger tube due to weight issues, I recomend you loose the weight. I need to also.

Thanks for the info! I think I probably am in the same camp as you are on this then. I hate being blown around, and I always manage to pack all I need, though bigger pockets WOULD be nice.
