super fat cat question.
#37
My Hubby's Escape got a hole. It caught the corner of a piece of wood while inflated in the garage. Stupid accident but cool lesson.
Put the Aquaseal and accelerator and a couple hours later, good as new.
They do come with on the site repair kits that I am told are excellent and quick.
Again in all the years I have been floating wether from a tube or toon....never had a leak. I am even more at ease with the new bladderless.
As far as storage, the two Escapes (and keep in mind, these are allot bigger than your Fat Cat) fit in the larger Rubbermade I think 40 gallon (both of them). In other words they fit behind the back seat in my Grand Vitara which is allot smaller than most trunks.
Yes a little bulkier than two fat cats, but as noted, thicker material and allot bigger.

Fat Cat: Inflated Size: 45" x 64" Tube Diameter: 13" weight 12

Escape: Inflated size: 52" X 72" Tube Diameter: 14" Weight: 24 lbs

It is nice knowing you don't need to be real careful. I drug my boat up a hill about 100 ft....just fine.

Not for everyone.
