Searchin' for my first ever musky!
#3
All you need to do is go Perch fishing, and slow-retrieve, and boom. They love that helpless panicked minnow.... you see whole schools follow your catch as your reel in (Newton)

Couple posts you might checkout:

You can stick a chunk (not whole) of perch on a hook under a bobber, or they'll chase after various lures, as mentioned. I've had one snarf either a gulp minnow or worm I had out for smaller fish.
You'll want a stiff rod, heavy line, best with a steel leader. Them's fish got teeth!
Problem I've had is targetting small fish (perch) and hooking up a Musky on the wrong gear. I have heavy poles, steel leaders, big lures - at the ready. At Newton you can spot them on the surface, or when they attack a school - and get on em, pitch pitch pitch.

I've hooked two, landed one, and man - what a rush! Gets your heart pounding! They are an addictive target. Good luck! Let us know how you do.
