Now that's what I'm talkin' about! Providing helpful detailed information to help others fish better and have a better chance of finding fish. Thank you people!
I too have been itching to try Pineview. I'm thinking Sunday morning might work - even try my new sideplaners. Now if I can just get up n out EARLY!
I landed my first Musky this year, after an earlier break-off, up at Newton. 8lb test, wimpy little kid rod. Just played it and nursed it - several runs, but it can be done. I was fishing for perch, and he ate my catch. What a Riot!
So what kind of boat did you get? I think a boat (even a little dink like mine) has definitely opened up better fishing opportunities. A fish finder is SUCH a great tool! But it's also dang frustrating sometimes to SEE tons of fish, but not get any bites, but you KNOW they're right there!!!!
Here's a map of the whole lake with labels.
