What I like about a Toon set up over a small boat is the fact I can use my feet/fins. I watch boats struggle a little to stay in a spot with a breeze, and granted you can use an anchor (on both) but what if you don't care for anchors. Those cases where you might have to chase a fish (on fly gear, you only have 90' to 100' of line before backing, and I try to stay out of the backing range)
Plus you can crawl so to speak with fin power...can't do that in a boat.
I won't mention that we can put our two boats plus the two Escapes in the back of our truck as we do pack them on a trailer for less set up time.
But boats are nice in the slight ice capped waters[]
