Strawberry 10-9-10. What a day!
#6
We must have seen you, then. Were you hanging by the islands just out from the ramp? I saw two toons there. We were two guys in a little 14' tuna can (slow moving and noisy). I watched one of the toons we saw net a fish and we gave them the thumbs up. That must have been around 1ish, i think...?

I typically go west then south up around the bend. My favorite little cove is over there, and it has good shelter from the wind along with pretty decent bottom cover that i think the fish enjoy. Everything we caught except 2 bows came out of that hole. However, there have been times that i've not even been able to tempt a bite out of there.

Too bad you couldn't net that 25"er! I'm sure that was a beautiful fish!

I've successfully addicted my cousin to fishing, and i think we're headed out again either Saturday or Sunday. It's supposed to warmer, so i'm hoping the wind cooperates too, but we all know how the berry and wind mix oh so very well. [Wink]
