ya sorry for the mini pics, they were taken from my phone and i can not figure out to get them in full size. The small pictures do the fish no justice, no justice at all. Three of our smallies the other day were 3 1/2 lbs plus. wish i could get the pictures to show more details
as far as the break offs - the reason being is that when we fish for the bass with tube jigs the muskies like to harass us and steal our tubes, you get a head shake or two before they slice right through 8 up to 17lb mono or co polymer line. We have landed a few musky on the tubes and drop shots but most of them are the smaller micro muskies. I hate using steal leader so i am looking into alternatives such as braid or mono in the 100lb range for a small leader, i feel you loose the finesse of fishing tubes with steal leaders.
