But that is where the masses of fish (for the young an Old[]) are being found. Literally, fishing in a bucket. All the young fresh fish. "A PUT AND TAKE"
I agree totally...but this only happens a short period of time....The Thinning of the herd.
Where is all these fish later in the year...you hear all the time people posting how tough it is to catch even one.
I don't see the over population at all, but I did catch 15 - 16" chub in an hour and a half...no lie! So, if they aren't getting eaten tells me, the fish are not starving at all.
If one does catch a snaky fish, I am betting it is either new plant or not well.
I am halfing this as well. Half says, again, it isn't broke. the other half says, Strawberry use to have open season which was lifted several years ago and 30+" fish are coming out of there....NOW (after how many years)
Maybe SLOT limits.
I would like to see Henry's respected with the BLUE WATER TROPHY fishery title that it deserves which would mean artificial all the way. Specially with the family lake "Island Park" just a stone trow away, but that ain't gonna happen till it is too late.
