Thanks for looking and nice feedback. I don't know about a tear in the eye, but I'll tell you about all them paint fumes - whew....
Ok Curt - you're revealing my ignorance. What's an "inspiration tube"? Google wants to take me to a You-Tube-esque video sight (wonder if they have fish-cams?!).
I assume that's the wire? Guess I shoulda dropped down a quarter for perspective like TD does. They start out about 3 inches long, but with a twist and trim I've ended up with from a 1-2.5" length probably. Been thinking coffee stirring straws might serve as a good spacer.
Dabbled with some more perch-like patterns last night. They're just so cute! Had a catalog of tackle making gear I need to dig up. I was amazed at all the bits and pieces out there! Thought instead of making all the same inline spinners - I'd experiment and mix it up - different hooks, or jigs, combos of spinners and color themes.
It's pretty fun! BUT - will they catch fish?!?!?
Come to realize some of the worm-harnesses, and kokanee killers aren't much more than some beads, rings, spinners, and hooks. Figured maybe I can save some money and try making some on the cheap. Need to pickup some more paint colors, and see about finding some good Glow Paint!
Then I have to convince my STUPID puppy that she should NOT snag my packages of hooks to chew on (good laawdy!).
