[#0000ff] That led to constriction of the feet, since I also could not find any super large size booties or fins. Had to spend a lot of time out doing the "tubers' stomp" to restore feeling in my feet. But...I caught lots of fish.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Yeah, us tubers can't be accused of being overly bright sometimes but we get in a lot of good fishing during times when the wimps are waiting it out.[/#0000ff][/quote]

Yep. Oddly enough I recruited a first time float tuber this year, he saw me out there on like November 17th, it was cold then too. I thought he was the smart one fishing from shore, but sure enough went out there again and he was in a float tube. My feet are the only thing that really froze, I need to get some boot fins rather than my ankle ones. He had boots on and was fine. My feet froze after about 2 hours, I fished through it of course. Painful - but I was fishing.

Then I'd go warm up in the truck for 15 mins or so then headed out. I don't mind freezing, as long as there is a good chance of something. I won't fish unproductive areas or techniques twice this time of year, but I will still float tube in cold water if the reward is there[Wink]
