Sunset 1/11/11

The boy and I went to Sunset today after he got home from school, got there around 3:30pm and set up. Very slow day saw a few caught and saw a few swimming around but very tough. Used worms, lures, powerbait, and power mouse for nothing. Tied on a fly and bobber and got my one and only bite and landed a 10 inch trout. The NDOW[cool] came around and checked for licenses and every one there was legal first time I have seen them at Sunset and nice guys to boot! Glad to see them making sure we all paid our dues. I honestly think it is not fishing pressure causing slow days but very cold weather and water. Early in the season it was lights out but the colder it has gotten the slower as well. Weather says it will warm up from the mid 40's to the mid 60's the next few days so maybe the trout will bite better.
