Artificial intelligence
#6
I kinda like the KISS approach that fishnutts outlined but I'll throw my two cents in on this discussion. I have no problem with people using whatever is legal on the particular waters that they are fishing. As long as you are keeping the rules, more power to ya. Go fishing.

It bugs me when people give others a hard time about using bait when it is legal to do so. I used earthworms to catch several members of the sunfish family when I was younger. My Dad decided we were going to be bass fishermen when I was a teenager and I didn't get to use anything but artificials for years. His point was, "I ain't gonna buy fish to catch fish." I can respect that. However, we kept a limit of fish when we went fishing. Why? Food.

I don't think keeping fish is as popular here as it is where I grew up. I'm sure a big argument against bait-fishing is deep-hooking of fish that you don't intend to keep. That isn't the case for me most of the time. I keep fish.

Bottom line: Go fishing and keep the rules. I won't give you a hard time about keeping/releasing fish. Just keep the rules.[:p][:p]
