I'm with you, I bow hunt a lot but I also rifle hunt alot. I fly fish when the time is right or on certain rivers. I'll use live bait or cut bait, worms ect. I also like using rapalas or plastics or spinners. The 
thing is that your always going to have those dudes that are pure as the driven snow because they only bow hunt or only fly fish. My oponion is they "and I don't mean all flyers and flingers so be calm" but the ones that run their mouths do so because they probably don't understand the joy of taking fish using these other methods or they suck at it. Just my two cents, hope this does'nt get locked I was carefull not to use the "E" word.
