I had an opportunity to overhear two guys in my restaurant having a debate over bait fisherman verses artificial and fly fisherman.
It made me laugh to hear both of their arguments, mostly because they got so worked up over a dumb subject!!!
It made me think about where I stand on the matter, and for the first time in my life I was guilty of being a fencesitter.(I fish with both bait, and flies and lures so I guess I'm like Switzerland on the issue).
I would like to hear everyone elses argument on the subject( mine is that it is all a blood sport even if you release everything just to go to joes crab shack and buy fish). Could be a fun post! What say you?
Ask my wife... I regularly get worked up over dumb subjects! Sounds like the majority of my arguments.
I say if it makes you happy and you catch fish, that's the way to go (as long as it doesn't involve dynamite).
"I'd rather spend my weekend fishing than working at in a trade show exhibit, unless the trade show is about fishing."
