ya couple of years ago The ice was 2 to 3 inches thick we dipped our limit and then moved out to try the trout and crack came along the whole side of lake 4 inches of open water between my legs my Brother inlaws Brother was in his new ice tent 10 feet further out than me and we hurried and got across that crack back to terra furma I messed my pants when the ice split open.
